The first ecological and sustainable event for babies and parents, Eco Baby Expo, will launch in Sydney from 6 to 7 November, 2010.
Coordinated by Bonjour Baby, the Expo will promote organic, natural and sustainable services and wares to discerning parents.
With a focus on promoting natural lifestyles, Expo attendees can expect to see a variety of natural products including chemical-free baby care, eco nappies, certified organic baby food, sustainable baby clothing and hand-made Fair Trade toys.
Each Expo attendee will also receive a free Bonjour Baby Box that can be filled by stall holders with special offers and samples, all designed to help new parents make a sustainable start to their childrens lives.
An Eco Stage will host information on childrens nutrition, baby massage tips and baby-care lessons by renowned nutritionists, naturopaths and experts who will highlight practical ways to raise a healthy and green baby.
A sure-to-be favourite for mums will be the Pamper and Tuck Lounge, a quiet and cosy space designated for nursing mothers and their breast-feeding children.
As part of its commitment to creating an environmentally conscious event, Bonjour Baby will plant one tree for every paying visitor. The Expo is also a carbon neutral event through its association with Origin Energy.
The first 50 people to book their tickets online will receive $50 off a Dr Hauschka classic treatment at the Discovery Centre in Rozelle. The first 600 to buy family passes will receive 20 percent off the regular price of an unlimited ride pass at Luna Park.

Some of the reasons parents of children in the 6-12 age group call are: manging children's challenging behaviours, child develpment, study/educational issues, children's anxiety and parental separation.
Parents can talk to highly qualified and experienced professional counsellors about a wide range of topics. The counseling they provide is free other than the cost of the call which is no more than the coast of a local call from anywhere in NSW. Mobile phones are charged according to their individial plans.
